Working with Alex McGeary and his team to create Bank Bar, a concept aimed to change the function of historical bank premises and turn them into cocktail bars.
With the high-street changing at an incredible rate, our client, an experienced entrepreneur in the drinks and beverage sector saw an opportunity to occupy the leases on these neglected buildings, breathing life into the premises by turning them into cocktail bars.
After extensive research into the history of banking, we devised a very simple palette on which to base the concept. The materials and colours selected for an implementation having banking’s history at their core, with greens, dark timbers, and brass detailing throughout. All brand implementation takes inspiration from elements such as old bank slips and signage, injecting all of the historic banking nuances into a modern-day cocktail establishment.
