Esquivel is a London-based jewellery designer and maker with a focus on creating a range of simple and elegant limited edition jewellery pieces. With a background in design and architecture,
(Sofia) Esquivel's jewellery pieces take inspiration from 20th-century architectural form to create meaningful angles, vistas and shadow play. I was commissioned to create a brand strategy, identity, packaging system and e-commerce website that would communicate her unique product and ethos helping establish Esquivel as a start-up business in the jewellery industry.
For the visual identity, we grounded the brand with a flexible design system giving the ability for the brand to adapt to many different communications and functions. The packaging design has also grounded the practice of architecture, with the use of simple linework inspired by technical drawings, material inspired colour palette and packaging function and materiality.
