Placing wayfinding at the core of the project for Mata's European Head Office in Ireland, this scheme offers a fresh perspective on traditional carpark navigation. The concept of super graphics embraces a multi-layered approach, incorporating brand storytelling through the intersection of shape and colour.
Large-scale icons and directional elements are integrated to enhance functionality within the overall design. This strategic layering of elements creates highly visible beacons or destinations that effectively guide and assist individuals, ensuring a seamless transition from the parking area to the office.
The storytelling element embraces what is at the foundation of Meta's social platform Facebook, with the idea of collaboration and the beauty that emerges when people come together to share something new. By bringing different shapes together and encouraging their playful interaction, new possibilities emerge. As shapes intertwine, they blend their colours, merge their patterns, or combine their forms, resulting in something entirely unique. This concept symbolizes the idea that when people with different backgrounds, perspectives, and talents come together, they have the potential to create something extraordinary.
