Glasshouse Yard

Identity, strategy, wayfinding

Glasshouse Yard in Clerkenwell, London seamlessly blends historical charm with modernity, nestled amid the bustling city streets. Originally an industrial glassworks founded in 1601 and known for producing cut glass, it has since been transformed into a vibrant workspace hub.

As part of renovation, a new visual identity was developed, celebrating the building's rich industrial history while offering a sleek, contemporary feel. Drawing inspiration from the angular shapes of the cut glass once produced there, the logotype and visual identity incorporate 45-degree angles and patterned designs, forming the foundation of the brand.

This angular motif is reflected in the building’s corner fascia and interior lighting, creating a bold, functional aesthetic that embodies the space's industrial character. To ensure a cohesive experience across all physical and digital touchpoints, the graphic system was applied to signage, wayfinding, agent brochures, and mailers.
